Travel quietly through the last Bhuddist Kingdom on the planet.

A photography journey with a difference.

A journey for those who wish to travel slowly with like-minded photographers and without the need for classes or workshops.

Although led by photographer Mark Stennett, we'll get you there and then leave you alone to explore and create and indulge in your art.

This journey takes participants through the breathtaking landscapes and cultural heart of Bhutan, offering opportunities to photograph iconic sites like Tiger’s Nest Monastery, Dochula Pass, and Punakha Dzong.

The itinerary offers deep cultural immersion with monastery and guesthouse stays, remote village visits, and the Jambay Lhakhang Drup Festival in Bumthang, featuring traditional dances and rituals. Photographers can capture authentic Bhutanese life while embracing slow travel.

With a small group of 10, the tour ensures comfort and flexibility, including private transport and local guides. Guests can choose to enjoy unique experiences like a hot stone bath, rafting, or yoga. All logistics, accommodation, meals, visas, and fees are covered for a seamless journey, making this retreat a rare privilege to connect with Bhutan’s rich culture and natural beauty.

Partners are welcome and depending on numbers we'll arrange extra activities if the photographers happen to be going to slow...as we all know can happen !!.
